Rammohan College

The learning hub of the Institute's academic activity is the Central Library of Rammohan College, Kolkata. It occupies 1200 square feet on the first floor of the main Building. The sitting capacity of the reading room of the library is for 30 readers. Local Area Network (LAN) connection exists in the library.

In 2016, college installed KOHA [3.16.08], an open source integrated library management software customized by Bengal Library Association [BLA] which was recently replaced by the latest stable version 21.05.12 that was released on March 10, 2022. This web enabled Integrated library software have SQL database and it follows MARC cataloguing format. Also, RFID Technology has been implemented in Rammohan College Library by Stallion OneByte Private Limited with Anti-theft gate Reader [Qty-1] and Staff station Reader [Qty-2]. The entire library premise is under CCTV surveillance as library provides open access. OPAC facilities are available through the campus network. Through INFLIBNET-NLIST Consortium anyone can access huge number of e-books and electronic journals. The RMC Library has also internet facilities. Members of the Library may use the computer for browsing the world-wide information in his/her specific topic through e-learning Centre. The library also provides reprography service to its patrons. The Library has one (1) Canon copier machine and one [1] HP Copier-scanner-printer machine and another one [1] hp printer machine. Faculties can print documents from the library for their academic purposes.
