Admission is strictly made on the basis of merit and in the process of online system. There is no alternative way of admission. At any point of time, any candidate found using any unfair means including an attempt to get admission through nepotism or favourtism or any agency will be treated as disqualified and any amount paid will be confiscated even if he/she is otherwise eligible and admitted by mistake.
Students taking admission in the college are expected to abide by certain rules and regulations, the important among which are listed below (for details refer the college prospectus):
As stipulated by Calcutta University, the college makes it mandatory for students to have at least 75% attendance in the class.
Attendance in the college examinations and securing pass marks is the prerequisite for getting permission for the University examination.
The students must always carry the fees book and the I-card while coming to the college.
Any kind of misconduct (including teasing, ragging or disrespect to fellow students and college staff) on the part of the students is unexpected and punishable by the college authority.
Smoking or drinking in the college premises is strictly prohibited; and the students are not allowed to make or receive calls on the mobile phones within the classroom or in the corridor.
